These house rules support a peaceful, safe and respectful stay for guests, horses, animals and the natural surroundings of Goldene Sporen Ranch.
1. Scope & booking request
These house rules apply to all guests, accompanying persons, horses and animals during their stay on the ranch grounds.
- The website form is solely a non-binding booking request and is not yet a reservation or booking.
- Binding arrival, departure and facility-use times will only be agreed in a later confirmation.
- Instructions from ranch management and current on-site notices support safety and must be observed.
2. Arrival, stay & pitches
The ranch is planning three camping pitches for guests with their own horse and eight horse boxes.
- Arrival, departure and use of the camping pitch and horse box take place only by prior agreement.
- Pitches, paths and access routes must be kept clear; vehicles and equipment must be positioned so that no one is endangered or obstructed.
- The exact location, access route and further details will be communicated before opening or in the later confirmation.
3. Horse health, documents & insurance
The welfare of the horses and responsible handling are our first priority.
- Before arrival, every horse must have valid horse owner liability insurance.
- Only healthy, transport-fit horses without signs of contagious illness may be brought to the ranch. Any illness or unusual symptoms must be reported immediately.
- On arrival, valid vaccination and deworming records must be presented for every horse.
- The horse owner must carry all required horse documents and evidence and present them on request.
4. Feed, hay, straw & care
Each horse's care is arranged responsibly and individually.
- Hay, straw and standard feed may be requested as chargeable additional services.
- Special feed and allergy-sensitive feed must be brought for your own horse.
- Other guests' horses must not be fed. Feed, bedding and equipment must be stored neatly and safely.
- Mucking out and cleaning horse boxes can be arranged as a paid service; otherwise the box must be handed back clean at departure.
5. Horse boxes, pastures & riding arena
Facilities are used with consideration for horses, the ground and other guests.
- Horse boxes, pastures and the riding arena may be used only by agreement and in accordance with instructions given on site.
- Use of the riding arena and pastures carries an additional charge and is billed separately.
- Riding in the arena is at your own risk. The riding arena may be used daily from 09:00 to 20:00.
- Gates, fencing and pasture entrances must be securely closed after every use. Pastures, riding arena and paths must be left clean and tidy.
- Pasture allocation and facility use may be adjusted for safety, weather or animal-welfare reasons.
6. Consideration, safety & cleanliness
Calm and considerate behaviour protects people, animals and the ranch's special atmosphere.
- Applicable quiet times and directions for using the grounds must be observed. Noise that disturbs other guests or animals must be avoided.
- Children must be supervised by their accompanying persons. Dogs are allowed only by prior agreement and must be kept on a lead on the grounds.
- Open fires, smoking and barbecues are permitted only in designated areas. Waste must be sorted into the provided containers.
- The camping area must be kept clean. Waste may only be disposed of in the designated waste bins.
- Shared areas, sanitary facilities and the whole site must be left clean, careful and considerate.
7. Emergencies, veterinary costs & damage
In an emergency, the safety of people and animals takes priority.
- In a medical or veterinary emergency, ranch management may arrange necessary assistance. Any veterinary costs incurred are to be paid by the horse owner.
- The person responsible is liable for damage to horse boxes, the riding arena, pastures or the entire ranch grounds.
- Damage, defects, escapes or hazards must be reported to ranch management immediately so that further damage can be prevented.
8. Cancellation of confirmed bookings
The cancellation timeframes published on the website apply to confirmed bookings.
- Cancellation is free of charge up to and including 14 days before arrival.
- 13 to 7 days before arrival, 20% of the booking price is charged; 6 to 3 days before arrival, 50%.
- From two days before the agreed arrival date, 90% of the booking price is charged. The arrival date in the booking confirmation is decisive.
9. Changes & shared responsibility
The ranch will continue to develop until opening; safety, animal welfare and respectful coexistence always take priority.
- Current on-site notices and written agreements in the confirmed booking supplement these house rules.
- In the event of serious breaches of the house rules or safety instructions, further use of the grounds may be prohibited.
- With a later binding booking, the then-current version of the house rules is acknowledged.
